Kazuhisa Sasaki

Born in Sendai, Japan. The best colser in Japanese baseball history. Drafted and played for the Yokohama BayStars for 10 years. Holds the record of most saves(229), most single season saves(45), and most consecutive games saved(22) in NPB history. Came to the Mariners as a FA and won the Rookie of the Year award. The second year was even better with 2nd leading in saves. This year Sasaki has appeared in 20 games and got 12 saves with an ERA of 0. (5-31)
